Botucal Single Vintage Rum 2004
Limited Botucal Single Vintage Rum from Venezuela produced in 2004 – a premium rum with a distinctive flavour profile.
During its distillation from molasses and sugar cane honey, sugar cane from 2004 was used as the raw material and the rum was filled into oak casks the same year. The extraordinary flavour and aroma are the result of long storage in different types of casks together with the blending of pot still and column still rums.
Botucal Rum is produced in Venezuela. The name was chosen in reference to the Venezuelan hacienda “botuka” (“green hill”). The sugar cane used for producing the rums grows there. Rum Botucal uses sugar cane honey as its basis and this is what confers its special aroma.
