Botucal Ambassador Selection Rum
Botucal Ambassador Selection Rum (formerly Diplomatico) – a cask-strength rum (47%) from Venezuela. This rum was created by Master Blender Tito Cordero, who was awarded the Golden Barrel Award as Master Rum Blender of the Year in 2011.
This Botucal Ambassador Rum contains heavy pot still rums that have been aged for at least 12 years in former bourbon casks and then for another two years in former Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.

Botucal Rum is produced in Venezuela. The name was chosen in reference to the Venezuelan hacienda “botuka” (“green hill”). The sugar cane used for producing the rums grows there. Rum Botucal uses sugar cane honey as its basis and this is what confers its special aroma.
