Macallan 1841 Replica Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Macallan 1841 Replica Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky: This bottle resembles an original bottling for “Priest and Davidson”, co-owners of the Macallan distillery from 1847 to 1851. This is the oldest Scotch whisky still in existence. It is fruity/sweet in flavour. The whiskies used are between 10 and 14 years old and are taken from a total of 43 sherry casks. Even the air bubbles and irregularities in the glass, together with the seal, were modelled on the original design.

Michael Jackson awarded this whisky 95 points for its high quality.

The Macallan Replica series consists of four whiskies (1841, 1861, 1874 and 1876), which are based on the taste and appearance of those from the 19th century. These bottlings were elaborately compiled by experts using numerous samples from currently available casks.
