Morrison’s Bowmore 21 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky | 500th Anniversary
Morrison’s Bowmore 21 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky – one of 6,000 bottles filled in 1994 and primarily blended with Scotch from the Bowmore distillery. This bottling simultaneously celebrates two occasions: Firstly, the 500th. anniversary of Scotch whisky and, on the other, the 25th anniversary of the International Wine & Spirit Competition. The bottles do not have a classic label but were adorned with a screen-printed one.
The Bowmore distillery was founded as early as 1779 on the Scottish island of Islay and produces, among other things, the famous Black Bowmore – a particularly popular rarity among whiskies. The peaty environment together with storage in warehouses, some of which are surrounded by 1.5 metres of salt water at high tide, give Bowmore its very own characteristics.
