Bellevue Guadeloupe Rum Silver Seal 17 Years Old 1998

Bellevue Guadeloupe Rum Silver Seal 17 Years Old 1998: A rum with a limited worldwide production of 270 bottles from the “Rum is Nature – Wildlife Collection”, dedicated to the wild natural world and colourful birds of the Caribbean and Latin America. The label of this rum features a yellow and a blue macaw. These belong to the macaw genus, two species of which are already extinct.

The rum was distilled in 1998 at the Bellevue distillery on the island of Marie-Galante in Guadeloupe and bottled in 2015 by the Silver Seal Whisky Company in Scotland at the age of 17 years.

The Silver Seal Whisky Company is an independent bottler from Italy, which brings to market both strictly limited whiskies and rums from countries around the world.

The rum bottles from the Wildlife Collection are highly sought after by collectors not only because of their colourful labels, but also because of their top quality. The Silver Seal Whisky Company refrains from re-colouring and re-sweetening.
