Talisker 34 Year Old Single Cask Whisky – Boat Cabinet: A 1975 filling limited to 250 bottles presented in a high-quality boat-shaped box that can be opened like a cupboard. Alongside the whisky, the Boat Cabinet contains a real piece of copper from the original still at the Talisker distillery and two Glencairn crystal glasses.
This single cask whisky was matured in an American oak cask and bottled at cask strength. This bottle is number 201 from cask 4982.
The Talisker distillery was founded in 1830 by Hugh MacAskill. It is the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. On the palate Talisker is known for its peat smoke and maritime character.
